About the role

Reporting to a Warehouse Supervisor / Manager this role operates as an integral member of the warehouse team responsible for the effective running of warehouse operations and for the Branch to achieve its service offering to customers. Duties include general warehouse duties as well as driving and delivering orders to customers.

Key responsibilities

- Picking and packing orders

- Receiving and unloading stock and put away stock

- Loading delivery vans

- Adhering to set cut-off times for deliveries

- Handling customer queries

- Driving and delivering orders

- Ensure delivery vehicle is roadworthy at all times

- Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean and is well maintained

- Receiving and despatching of stock





- Unload stock from trucks

About you

- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar physical role

- Physically able to undertake the role and demonstrate safe manual handling skills
- A full current drivers licence with good driving history

- Team Player and a 'Can do' attitude

- Able to receive work flexibly, take directions, feedback and learn quickly

- Confident in asking questions and making suggestions to improve processes

- Reliable - punctual and dependable

- Self-motivated and have a strong work ethic
