About the role

Gasoline Pony is looking for an experienced Cook / Chef to cover a three month period of leave in our Marrickville venue. Commencement date for handover and training with our existing chef is from Wednesday 28th October.

The menu is very manageable for a single chef consisting of pizzas, bar snacks and seasonal specials along side some additions offered for our weekend events menu when booked.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes from our menu in a small but quaint kitchen area, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Hours required: Thursday 4:00 - 9:00pm, Friday - Sunday 4:30 - 9:00pm.
- Earlier start times / finish times if required.
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety standards.




- Weekly ordering of stock for the kitchen.

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2 years experience as a Chef or Cook in a similar hospitality workplace
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Proven track record of working well in a team and contributing to a positive work culture
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Flexible and adaptable to handle the demands of a casual role
