Fortified Support is a registered NDIS provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. We are expanding our team and seeking compassionate, reliable, and multiskilled workers to provide a combination of domestic assistance and individual support to our NDIS participants.

About the Role

As a Multiskilled Support Worker, you will assist participants with everyday household tasks while also providing personal and community support to help them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities may include:

Domestic Assistance

- General household cleaning to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
- Laundry, basic ironing, and other household duties.
- Meal preparation, cooking, and light kitchen duties.
- Grocery shopping and assistance with local errands.

Individual Support

- Personal Care: Assisting with showering, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily living activities as required.
- Mobility Assistance: Supporting participants with transfers, walking, and mobility equipment in accordance with their support plans and training.
- Community Access: Accompanying participants to appointments, shopping, social activities, and community outings.
- Health Support: Assisting with medication according to the participant’s support plan, your training, and relevant procedures, as well as supporting attendance at health appointments.
- Companionship: Building positive relationships and providing emotional and social support.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of services delivered and reporting concerns, incidents, or changes in participants’ needs.

The role requires flexibility, as the mix of domestic assistance and individual support will depend on each participant’s needs and support plan.

About You

We are looking for caring, dependable, and professional individuals who take pride in their work and are passionate about supporting people to live as independently as possible.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Experience in domestic assistance, disability support, aged care, or a similar role.
- A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- An official USI transcript to support your qualification.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one with our support.
- A valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle.
- At least one professional reference.
- Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently while following support plans, workplace procedures, and participant preferences.
- A respectful, patient, and person-centred approach to care.

Previous experience in both domestic assistance and individual support will be highly regarded, as this is a multiskilled role requiring a willingness to undertake both types of duties.
