Blue Nest Cleaning Co. is growing, and we're looking for reliable, detail-oriented cleaners to join our team as independent contractors.

We currently service 20+ short-stay properties across Brisbane, with a strong focus on quality, presentation and consistency.

Our goal is to consistently help our clients achieve 5-star guest feedback for cleanliness.

What we're looking for

We're looking for cleaners who:

- Take genuine pride in their work
- Have strong attention to detail
- Are reliable and committed to their bookings
- Communicate well
- Can follow property-specific instructions and checklists
- Care about presentation, not just completing the cleaning
- Can work independently once fully trained

Airbnb/short-stay or hotel housekeeping experience is highly valued. Residential and other professional cleaning experience is also welcome.

Experience with hotel-style bed making and linen setups is an advantage, but training is provided for the right person.

The Blue Nest standard

We're not looking for cleaners who simply want to finish as quickly as possible.

We aim to provide a cleaning service above the average short-stay standard. Our cleaners are expected to leave properties genuinely clean, well-presented and guest-ready.

We use company apps for job allocation, communication, checklists and reporting. Timestamped photos are required for every clean, and cleaners complete a short report after each service.

Training is fully paid and includes supervised cleaning, shadowing and several training cleans.



You will not be expected to work independently until you're familiar with our standards and procedures.

Requirements

- Own reliable car for travelling between properties
- Own professional cleaning equipment, particularly a reliable vacuum
- Smartphone
- ABN required or willing to obtain
- Legal right to work in Australia as an independent contractor
- Availability across multiple days during the week
- Sunday and Monday availability is highly preferred
- Minimum 6-month commitment

This is a flexible opportunity, but reliability and commitment are essential. We need contractors who can commit to their agreed availability and bookings.
