⁠TAI Electrical is a growing small electrical business based in ⁠Springvale South servicing residential and commercial clients across Melbourne. We take pride in delivering top-quality workmanship and creating a secure, supportive environment where our team can learn and thrive.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated 1st Year Electrical Apprentice to join our team on a full-time basis.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working alongside our experienced, licensed electrician, you will gain hands-on trade experience while completing your Certificate III in Electrotechnology.

Your daily tasks will include:

Assisting with rough-ins, fit-offs, wiring, and general electrical installations.

Learning to read schematics and technical plans.

Setting up tools, managing job-site materials, and keeping work sites clean and safe.

Learning fault finding, troubleshooting, and safety standards under supervision.

Attending scheduled TAFE block training sessions.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Training: Pre-Apprenticeship (Cert II in Electrotechnology)



is preferred but not essential.

Safety & Licences: White Card (Construction Induction) is required.

Transport: Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable transport to travel to site or meet at the depot in ⁠Springvale South.

Attributes: High attention to detail, strong work ethic, punctuality, and a genuine interest in building a long-term career in the electrical trade.

Physical Capability: Ability to carry out manual handling, work at heights, or work in tight spaces when required.

What We Offer

Full-time 4-year apprenticeship contract leading to trade qualification.

Regular local work primarily focused around Melbourne.

Pay: $16.39 – $25.87 per hour
