Our client, Huy Yun Agriculture Co Ltd are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Managing Director to lead and oversee all aspects of our business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, financial performance, and overall company direction.

Key responsibilities include:

- Determine the company’s strategic direction and lead the development and implementation of business plans across agricultural operations, investment and international trade.
- Direct financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation and performance monitoring, to support profitability and sustainable growth.
- Establish corporate policies, governance arrangements and management controls across the company and associated business entities.
- Oversee agricultural operations at an executive level, ensuring resources, infrastructure and production capabilities align with commercial objectives.
- Evaluate major investment proposals, acquisitions and expansion opportunities, assessing commercial viability, financial returns and business risks.
- Develop strategies for Australian agricultural exports, including market entry, distribution arrangements and international trading partnerships.
- Identify and Lead negotiations concerning growth opportunities, commercial contracts, financing arrangements and strategic partnerships.
- Appoint,



direct and evaluate senior managers, establish performance objectives and ensure accountability for operational and financial outcomes.
- Direct enterprise risk management and oversee compliance with applicable corporate, employment, environmental, agricultural and trade requirements.
- Represent the company in high-level dealings with investors, financial institutions, government agencies, industry bodies and international business partners.
- Report to the Board or owners on financial performance, strategic initiatives, material risks and progress against business objectives.

Essential requirements include:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior executive role
- Robust leadership and decision-making skills
- Proven track record in business growth and management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable skills and experience

- Experience in international trade, including knowledge of Australian export markets.
- Khmer (Cambodian) language skills.
- Experience managing multiple business entities, including offshore entities.
- Experience managing large-scale agricultural holdings.

Pay: $160,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
