What do I need to know before I register my interest?

Applicants must hold and maintain the mandatory qualifications, licences, certifications and registrations required for the role(s) they wish to be considered for. Please refer to the position descriptions below for specific requirements.

Suitable applicants will join our talent pool and be considered for opportunities over the next 12 months. Please note that submitting an Expression of Interest or being included in the pool does not guarantee employment.

Qualifications:

- Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety and Resuscitation
- Industry recognised learn to swim instructor certificate (AUSTSWIM, RLSSWA, Swim Australia, ASSA).
- Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics certification
- Provide First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Working with Children Check
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.

LIFEGUARDS
Qualifications:

- RLSSWA Pool Lifeguard License
- Working with Children Check
- Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.

GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTORS
Qualifications:

- Fitness qualification(s)
- AUSactive registration
- Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.

PERSONAL TRAINERS
Qualifications:

- Relevant Fitness qualification(s)
- Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.

FITNESS COACHES
Qualifications:

- Relevant Fitness qualification(s)
- Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.

UMPIRES (BASKETBALL, NETBALL, VOLLEYBALL & FUTSAL)
Qualifications:

- Certification in sport dependant umpiring/refereeing
- Preferred C Badge for Netball, Level 1Basketball Accreditation, Level 1 Volleyball Accreditation and/or relevant experience
- Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate




- Working with Children Check
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.

ACTIVITY LEADERS
Qualifications:

- Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate

CRECHE ATTENDANTS
