Shifts rotate between night starts (8pm-10pm, Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday) and day starts (7am-3pm). The majority of shifts are night work, with regular day shifts in the mix. If you can’t commit to a rotating roster that includes night shifts, this role isn’t for you.

About AM Coil
Family-owned commercial HVAC and kitchen exhaust cleaning business, established 1993. We service commercial sites across the ACT and NSW — restaurants, nursing homes, hospitals, and similar venues. No residential work.

The role
You’ll be based in Canberra as part of our kitchen exhaust cleaning crew, cleaning:

- Kitchen exhaust ductwork
- Canopies and hoods
- Exhaust fans on rooftops

All cleaning supplies, PPE, and equipment are provided.

Approximately once a fortnight you’ll drive to our Sydney base to restock filters and supplies. Depending on scheduling, this may be a regular working day or paid as overtime.

- $63,500 per annum full-time base salary
- Regular overtime available on top of base (not guaranteed, but consistently available for team members who want the hours)

You must have

- Manual driver’s licence (automatic will not be accepted)
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transport to get to and from the Canberra depot and client sites
- White card (construction induction)
- Ability to stand on ladders and wear a harness for rooftop work
- Willingness to commit to a rotating day and night roster
- Willingness to travel to Sydney approximately once a fortnight (vehicle provided for this trip)
- Good attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Right to work full-time in Australia

Nice to have (not essential)

- Previous duct cleaning, kitchen exhaust, or commercial cleaning experience
- Experience working at heights
