We have a Mackay team supported by our associated office in Brisbane, so you get regional work and lifestyle with the resources and mentoring of a larger practice with a wider range of experience beyond family law.

The role

We’re looking for a Family Lawyer to join our Mackay office and manage your own caseload of:

- Parenting matters
- Property settlements
- Domestic violence orders

You’ll have plenty of client contact and regular Court appearances, backed by supervision from our Accredited Specialist / Partner in Brisbane, regular case reviews, shared precedents and systems.

About you





- Admitted in Queensland with at least 1 year of family law experience
- Empathetic and calm with clients in difficult circumstances
- Confident running your own files, and a good team member
- Detail-focused and comfortable with modern practice management technology
- Interested in building your profile and client base in the Mackay community (we’ll support this)
