n About the rolen

n As a Senior Accountant, you will support all areas of finance, ensuring accurate financial processes and reporting during a maternity leave cover.n

n Key responsibilitiesn

n

n
- Prepare and review journal entries, perform ledger and account analysis, and conduct variance analysis
n
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with the firm's reconciliation framework
n
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes as required
n
- Assist in the preparation of financial and management reporting, liaising with the World Firm Finance team
n
- Ensure finance processes comply with internal controls and authorisation requirements
n
- Support tax compliance requirements through coordination with stakeholders and external advisors
n
- Assist with external audits and resolve queries in a timely manner
n




- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
n

n Skills & experiencen

n

n
- CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent qualified accounting qualification)
n
- Proven experience in a Senior Accountant role, including responsibility for financial reporting
n
- Exposure to tax compliance, including GST, Payroll Tax, and Income Tax obligations
n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis capabilities
n
- Experience using Oracle Financials or a similar ERP system is preferred
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage competing priorities.
