We’re looking for reliable, hardworking cleaners to join our team at an aged care facility in Algester.

This is more than just keeping a facility clean. You’ll play an important part in creating a safe, comfortable and welcoming home for residents, while working alongside a friendly, team-focused crew.

Key responsibilities:

As part of our aged care cleaning team, you’ll help maintain a clean, hygienic and comfortable environment for residents, visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include:

- Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, living and dining areas
- Maintaining communal and high-traffic areas
- General cleaning of floors, surfaces, kitchens and common areas
- Rubbish removal and restocking supplies
- Following infection control, hygiene and safety requirements
- Reporting maintenance or safety concerns
- Assisting with movement of equipment and stock where required

What we’re looking for:

Most importantly, we’re looking for people who are dependable, caring and take pride in their work.

You’ll also need:





- Previous cleaning experience, with aged care experience highly regarded
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to meet relevant compliance requirements, including a National Police Check and influenza vaccination
- Robust attention to detail and high cleaning standards
- Reliability and punctuality
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of the importance of resident dignity, hygiene and presentation in an aged care workplace
