- Salary: $86,601 - $124,725 + Middle Leader Allowance Tier 2.2 + 12.75% Super (commensurate with experience)
- Status: Full Time, Fixed Term

This is a continuing teaching appointment, with an initial appointment into the Middle Leader position including Middle Leader Allowance, concluding at the end of the current triennium (December 2029).



Two subsequent three-year appointments with the Middle Leader Allowance can be offered subject to satisfactory performance in the position and the ongoing existence of the position.

The multi-campus College operates as the principal Catholic College on the Redcliffe peninsula. Southern Cross Catholic College has three campuses located in Scarborough, Kippa Ring and Woody Point accommodating students in Prep to Year 6 and a fourth campus in Scarborough accommodating middle and senior years students from Year 7 to 12. About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for:

- Leading the designated curriculum area(s) taught in the school
- Applying contemporary learning and teaching research to classroom practice through professional development of teachers engaged in the area(s) of curriculum responsibility
- Supervising and inducting teachers engaged in the area(s) of curriculum responsibility
- Analysing student performance data and addressing areas of concern through appropriate interventions




- Managing financial and material resources within the area of responsibility including the formulation of
- budgets and the expenditure of allocated funds.
