We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Customer Service Assistant to join our welcoming team at our alterations and dry cleaning business.

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Assist customers with garment alterations, dry cleaning, and clothing care enquiries.
- Accurately enter customer orders and manage transactions using our store software.
- Inspect and tag garments, ensuring customer details and special instructions are recorded correctly.
- Coordinate with tailors and dry cleaning staff to ensure orders are completed on time.
- Handle customer enquiries, resolve concerns professionally, and follow up when required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming store environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver an excellent customer experience.





About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
- Very good English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- A basic understanding of sewing, garment alterations, clothing, or fashion design.
- The ability to learn and confidently use new software and computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- The ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy setting.
- A reliable, responsible, and positive attitude.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Previous experience in retail, customer service, alterations, or dry cleaning is an advantage, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are equally important.
