Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineering Technician for an immediate start on a full-time basis, working 38 hours per week from Engadine, NSW 2233. The successful candidate will be required to perform a variety of tasks, including:

- Assisting electrical engineers and licensed electricians with the development, planning, installation, operation, and maintenance of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
- Interpreting electrical designs, diagrams, technical drawings, specifications and other relevant engineering documentation to support electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Providing technical support for the installation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical systems, switchboards, protection devices, and medium-voltage to low-voltage (MV/LV) distribution transformers.
- Conducting electrical inspections, measurements, and testing of electrical equipment and systems, identifying faults and supporting corrective actions in accordance with applicable regulations, technical standards, and safety requirements.
- Supporting the operation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical distribution systems, switching equipment,



and protection devices to ensure safety and operational reliability.
- Assisting in selecting suitable electrical components, equipment, instruments, materials, and technical resources for installation, maintenance, and engineering activities.
- Preparing material lists, quantity estimates, and cost estimates to support project planning, procurement, budgeting, and maintenance works.

Skills and Experience Required: For this position, candidates are expected to meet the following qualification and work experience requirements:

- Hold at least a Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Electrical – Engineering, or an equivalent relevant qualification, and have a minimum of one year of full-time work experience in an Electrical Engineering Technician role.

The formal qualification can be substituted by at least 3 years of relevant work experience in an Electrical Engineering Technician role. Why Join Us?
