Showroom Sales Consultant — Premium Furniture

For 10 years The Acacia Tree has made premium solid timber furniture that Australians keep for life, sold online and through our showrooms in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. We're looking for a salesperson for our Sydney showroom at The Grounds in Alexandria who loves selling and treats the showroom as their own.

The role: selling, and the showroom

Selling (most of your day)

- Look after walk-ins and booked appointments in the showroom with a thoughtful, consultative approach. Our customers are making considered purchases.

- Answer calls and emails from customers all over Australia as part of our national sales team

- Guide customers from first hello to close, then follow up, quote and hand over to our operations team

- Build relationships that bring customers back and send their friends

The showroom in your care

This isn't a management role, but the Sydney showroom's presentation is yours. You'll:

- Keep the floor immaculate and on-brand every day: styling, cleanliness, lighting, tickets and pricing

- Restyle displays as new pieces arrive

- Open and close the showroom,



and fix or flag anything that lets it down

- Tell us what customers respond to. You're our eyes on the floor.

Who we're looking for

- Proven sales experience in furniture, interiors, luxury retail or another considered purchase

- A positive eye for space and styling. An interior design or styling background is a plus.

- Reliable and thorough: you show up, follow through and don't need to be chased

- Someone looking for a long-term home, not a stepping stone

- Warm, low-ego and genuinely good with people

Hours

Full time, five days including weekends. Saturday and Sunday are our busiest days. Weekdays off are rostered.

Pay

A competitive base salary plus a performance bonus. Your package depends on your experience and what you bring. A proven record of outstanding results in premium furniture or interiors, the kind that adds real value to our team from day one, will be reflected in the offer.
