Jetty Lounge is a café on Redcliffe Parade, open for breakfast and lunch, Tuesday to Sunday.

We're looking for an experienced Barista / Front of House All-Rounder who is just as comfortable on the floor. You'll run the coffee station on your own through the morning rush. You'll also help with table service and clearing, and keep the café ready for the next customer.

What you'll do

- Make consistent espresso coffee and other drinks to our standards

- Greet customers, take orders and process payments on the POS

- Take food and drinks to tables, then transparent and reset them

- Keep the counter, floor and service areas clean and well stocked

- Pass dietary and allergy requests to the kitchen accurately, every time

- Help with opening and closing tasks when rostered

What you'll need

- Around 6-12 months' barista experience in a busy café

- Confidence running the machine on your own during a rush, including dialling in the grinder





- Front-of-house experience: taking orders, table service and handling payments

- Availability for weekend shifts

Nice to have

- A current RSA certificate

Hours and pay

- This is a casual position. We expect to offer around 30-38 hours a week, but hours aren't guaranteed and will vary with the roster.

- Shifts usually run from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. We'll work out your days and times with you, but weekend shifts are part of the role. We occasionally trade on public holidays.
