PHO HOME is a growing Vietnamese restaurant group operating across the NSW Mid North Coast.

We are currently looking for 3 experienced Cooks/Chefs and 6 enthusiastic FOH All-Rounders to join our teams in Coffs Harbour, Forster and Port Macquarie.

1. COOK / CHEF – 3 FULL-TIME POSITIONS

Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 per annum + Superannuation

We are seeking motivated, reliable and hardworking Cooks/Chefs who can work efficiently in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook Vietnamese and Asian-style dishes to restaurant standards.

- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portion control.

- Manage food preparation, stock rotation and kitchen cleanliness.

- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.

- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner services.

- Cooperate with kitchen and FOH teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

- Commercial Cookery qualifications or relevant professional kitchen experience.

- Previous experience in Asian cuisine kitchens is highly preferred, especially Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese or other Asian restaurants.

- Experience preparing noodle soups, stir-fries, rice dishes and other Asian meals is an advantage.

- Ability to work independently and handle busy service periods.

- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.





- Flexible availability, including weekends.

482 VISA SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY – 485 VISA HOLDERS WELCOME!

PHO HOME is an approved business sponsor and welcomes applications from candidates currently holding a Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485).

We are particularly interested in candidates who:

- Have completed Commercial Cookery qualifications in Australia.

- Have practical cooking experience, preferably in an Asian restaurant kitchen.

- Are currently holding a valid Subclass 485 visa.

- Are looking for stable, long-term full-time employment.

- Are committed to developing their cooking skills and growing with PHO HOME.

Skills in Demand Visa (Subclass 482) sponsorship may be considered for suitable and eligible long-term Cook/Chef candidates.

Sponsorship is subject to business needs, individual eligibility, satisfactory work performance and applicable immigration requirements. It is not automatic or guaranteed.

2. FOH ALL-ROUNDERS – 6 POSITIONS

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Casual

We are looking for friendly, energetic and reliable FOH All-Rounders who enjoy working with customers and supporting a busy restaurant team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome customers and provide friendly customer service.

- Take orders and handle POS payments.

- Pack takeaway and delivery orders accurately.

- Serve meals and maintain clean dining areas.

- Assist with opening, closing and general cleaning duties.





- Support the team during busy lunch and dinner periods.

Requirements:

- Friendly personality and positive attitude.

- Good communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.

- Availability to work adaptable shifts, including weekends.

- Previous hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential.

Junior applicants aged 17+ are welcome. Training will be provided.

WORK LOCATIONS

Positions are available at our restaurants in:

- Coffs Harbour NSW 2450

- Forster NSW 2428

- Port Macquarie NSW 2444

Applicants must be currently located in Australia and willing to work at their allocated restaurant.

Successful candidates may be required to complete initial training at one of our Port Macquarie locations before commencing work at their assigned restaurant.
