Snuggle Hunny Kids

Rouse Hill

You'll own how Snuggle Hunny shows up in the world every day — across social, email and content. You'll set the strategy and calendar, lead a small team to bring it to life, and roll your sleeves up alongside them.

You'll lead a team of two — a Content Creator and a Community Coordinator — and report to the CEO. Your Content Creator makes much of the day-to-day content, and your Community Coordinator owns our community spaces and engagement. You're working alongside them: shooting on content days, helping to write copy, building emails, jumping on a trend when it can't wait for a brief.

Strategy here means a living calendar, not decks. If your happy place is planning and reviewing from a distance, this isn't the role for you. If you love shaping the plan and getting your hands on making content, reviewing and analysing what's working, keep reading.

What you'll do

Strategy and calendar

- Own the social and content strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and Email Marketing — what we say, where, and why

- Build and run the content calendar across social, email, blog and website, aligned to collection launches, seasonal campaigns and key retail dates

- Manage the influencers and ambassadors strategy and work on partnerships

- Keep everything unmistakably Snuggle Hunny

- Report on performance across social and email with clear takeaways, and shift the plan as needed

Execution, alongside your team

- Be across trends and work with the team daily to ensure we are building these, where relevant, into what we do

- Brief your Content Creator clearly and well — then help with the making: plan and shoot content days, help write captions and campaign copy, edit when needed

- Hold the bar on quality and brand voice

- Partner with your Community Coordinator, who owns our community spaces day to day, to constantly engage and delight our cmmunity

- Contribute creative and copy for paid ads,

and use ad performance to sharpen what the team makes next (you are not responsible for Ads Management, but are responsible for creating content)

- Build and maintain our internal content library so the whole team can find and reuse assets easily

- Determine our influencer and partnership plan and deliver that plan with our team

Email marketing — yours end to end

- Own email outright: you plan, build, test and send the campaigns, launches and automated flows yourself

- Work with the graphic designer to get the right content for emails

- Segment and target thoughtfully so the right message lands with the right customer

- Grow the list and improve performance across opens, clicks and email-attributed revenue

Leading the team

- Manage and develop the Content Creator and Community Coordinator: set priorities, give clear briefs, review work and grow their skills

- Adapt your leadership to each person

Who are we?

We're an Australian-designed baby and children's brand, loved for our handpainted watercolour prints and GOTS-certified organic cotton essentials. From wraps and swaddles to apparel, nursery and gifts, everything we make comes back to one purpose: we bring joy to our community — parents, gift-givers, grandparents, and the boutiques and retailers who stock us.

We keep things simple, we're open with each other, and we love to wow our customers.

About You…..

- 4–6 years across social, content and email marketing, ideally in consumer brands, retail or e-commerce — including hands-on making, not just managing

- You will have already managed a small team and be a natural people leader eager to coach and help individuals grow

- You will have strong experience across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube and be able to demonstrate this

- Hands-on email marketing experience: you've written, built and sent campaigns and flows yourself, and reported on them

- A portfolio that shows both: strategy or calendars you've run, and content you've personally made

- Strong writing skills and a genuine feel for warm, community-first brand voice

- Confidence with the tools of the trade: scheduling platforms, editing tools like CapCut, Canva or Adobe, email platforms, and enough fluency in Meta Ads reporting to read performance and act on it

- Organised and self-directed; you can run a calendar across multiple launches without dropping threads

- You’ll be confident, positive, very collaborative and a good listener

- Across and in-tune with trends and what’s evolving in the baby space

- AI aware and focused - you'll have used it in work and can demonstrate that

Bonus points for

- Experience in baby, kids or parenting-adjacent brands, or a personal connection to the world of little ones

- Photography or videography skills

- Familiarity with Shopify and Dotdigital (or similar platforms like Klaviyo)

Things About Us to Love.....

- We are a team that seeks to wow with everything we do

- We’re nimble – we’re not corporate at all!

- Lots of opportunity to grow

- Beautiful new office and an entire photostudio for content creation

- Generous discount

Send us your CV along with links to your work - both content you've personally made and channels or campaigns you've run. Share some trends that would work for Snuggle Hunny.

Apply now - we can't wait to see what you've made.

Please note, this is a full-time position based in our current office in Rouse Hill. Flexible working will be considered once you're established.

You must be based in Sydney and have full working rights.
