About the role

Fathom Brewing is seeking a reliable and capable part time cook to join our team. The successful applicant will assist with the preparation and cooking of food, maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, and ensure the kitchen operates efficiently in a safe and clean environment.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items to a consistent standard.

- Assist with food preparation and portion control.

- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.

- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.

- Store, label and rotate food items correctly.

- Follow recipes, kitchen procedures and instructions from management.

- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties as required.

About you

- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or similar role preferred.

- Knowledge of food safety and food safe handling practices.

- Ability to work efficiently in a busy setting.

- Good organization and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently.

- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays when necessary.
