We’re looking for a motivated Sales Consultant to connect customers with the right products and help grow our retail and trade business.

The Opportunity

This opportunity suits a professional, career-minded salesperson who enjoys building strong customer relationships and taking ownership of results.

You’ll work with customers in our showroom, over the phone and online to understand their projects, recommend suitable products, calculate material requirements and prepare quotations.

Customer enquiries are provided — no cold calling required. You’ll take ownership of qualifying enquiries, following up quotations and converting opportunities into orders, using our established sales processes and systems.

This is a hands-on role that also involves assisting the warehouse team with preparing your customers’ orders.

For the right person, there is an opportunity to progress into a Sales Management position, helping lead and develop the sales team as the business grows.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Responding to showroom, phone and online enquiries promptly and professionally

- Understanding each customer’s project, budget and product requirements

- Presenting product options, samples and relevant product information

- Calculating material requirements, preparing accurate quotations and following up to secure orders

- Building relationships with homeowners, builders, decking installers, landscapers and other trade customers

- Growing repeat and referral business through reliable service and ongoing customer relationships

- Keeping customer records, quotations and sales opportunities up to date





- Coordinating with the warehouse team on stock availability, delivery requirements and order handover

- Assisting the warehouse team with picking, checking and preparing your customers’ orders as required

- Working towards agreed sales targets while maintaining a high standard of customer service

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Customer-focused, with clear communication and strong relationship-building skills

- Proactive in qualifying enquiries, following up quotations and closing sales

- Organised and accurate when managing quotations, orders and customer information

- Commercially minded, with the ability to explain product value and negotiate within agreed pricing guidelines

- Able and willing to learn product specifications, interpret customer layout plans and prepare accurate material estimates and quotations, with full training provided

- Comfortable using email, CRM and ERP systems

- Self-motivated, reliable and willing to contribute to a cooperative, hands-on team

- A team player with a genuine interest in long-term career growth

A background in building materials, decking, cladding, landscaping, home improvement or trade sales will be highly regarded but is not essential. Full training on our systems and products will be provided.

What We Offer

- A full-time role with a stable base salary and sales commission

- On-target earnings of $80K–$120K, including base salary, commission and superannuation
