This is a full-time opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for stable employment, varied work and the opportunity to grow with an expanding business. You will work on residential electrical installations, including new builds and renovations, electrical automation projects, and switchboard installations.
Key responsibilities
- Residential electrical installations, including new builds and renovations
- Electrical rough-ins, fit-offs, testing and commissioning
- Switchboard installations and upgrades
- Lighting, power, data and automation installations
- Reading electrical drawings and working from project specifications
- Working independently and alongside apprentices
- Providing supervision and guidance to apprentices within applicable requirements
- Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and site presentation
- Communicating professionally with builders, clients and other trades
About you
- Current NSW electrical licence (qualified to perform electrical wiring work)
- Experience in residential electrical installations
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and Australian Standards
- Current driver's licence
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
- Ability to work well within a team and assist in developing apprentices
- Experience with high-end residential construction (highly regarded)
- Experience with smart home systems and electrical automation (highly regarded)
