The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum GP VMO ED, FACEM or Senior ED Doctor to support Emergency Department services across regional and remote Western Australia.
This role suits a doctor who wants flexible FIFO blocks without being tied into a permanent roster, with time off between blocks.
FIFO block bookings are available for upcoming dates across WA at rates of up to $3k+ per day.

Clinical Environment
• Regional and remote Emergency Department settings across Western Australia
• Senior doctor on shift, with escalation pathways available
• Provide senior ED cover within scope
• Assess and manage acute emergency presentations
• Support resus, trauma and procedural care where required
• Coordinate escalation, retrieval or transfer when needed
• Complete clinical documentation and handover
• Work collaboratively with nursing, hospital and retrieval teams

Requirements
• GP VMO ED, FACEM or Senior ED doctor experience
• Recent acute care or Emergency Medicine experience
• Current ALS
• Current General or Specialist AHPRA registration
• Australian working rights
• Comfortable being the senior doctor on shift in a regional or remote setting

Location
Locum options are available across coastal towns, regional centres and remote communities in Western Australia, including the Kimberley, Pilbara, Midwest, Goldfields, Wheatbelt, Great Southern and South West.
This is a strong opportunity for a senior ED doctor wanting flexible FIFO blocks and time off between them, while experiencing some of Western Australia’s most unique regional locations.

Referral Program
Also, if locum work isn’t for you at the moment but you know another doctor who may be interested, we do have a referral program. Successful referrals can receive a $1,100 prepaid gift card for non-specialist doctors, or $1,600 for specialist/consultant referrals, once the referred doctor has completed the required shifts.
