About the role

We are looking to recruit a vehicle sales trainee that will learn the fundamentals of car sales and begin their career within the automotive industry. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, your responsibilities as a sales trainee will include:

Key responsibilities:

Learn all aspects of the automotive industry and dealer management system

Sell preowned vehicles

Gain business from new and existing customers

Understand customer objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes

Provide top level customer service

Maintain excellent knowledge about all vehicles and products as well as the overall presentation of vehicles

To be considered, applicants must have:

Current manual driver's licence





Proven ability to work in a quick-paced environment and under pressure

Great organising abilities

Reliable and take pride in your work

Ability to work as part of a team

Excellent customer service skills

Previous Customer Service experience with an ability to be inviting, vibrant and helpful in all clientele interactions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including some level of computer literacy
