Part-Time Gardener & Home Maintenance All-Rounder (Private Residence)

We’re looking for a reliable, practical all-rounder with a positive, can-do attitude to help care for our private home and garden in Oatley. This is a permanent part-time position, 1-2 days per week, with days and hours agreed together. You’ll enjoy diverse, hands-on work, take initiative and take pride in a job well done.

Key responsibilities

- Gardening, weeding, pruning and hedging (no mowing required)
- Routine pool cleaning and maintenance
- General cleaning and tidying around the house and outdoor areas
- Rubbish removal and keeping areas organised
- Small painting and touch-up jobs
- Minor repairs and general handyman tasks
- A variety of other household and property maintenance jobs as they arise

About you

- Positive,



can-do attitude and willingness to tackle different jobs
- Reliable, trustworthy and respectful of a private home
- Practical experience in gardening, maintenance or handyman work
- Ability to work independently, notice what needs doing and follow through
- A careful approach to tools and equipment, and good judgement about when a qualified tradesperson is needed
- Pool maintenance experience would be helpful
- Regular, ongoing work at one property
- A varied role in a friendly household
- Agreed working days and hours, with some flexibility
- Hourly rate based on experience, plus applicable employment entitlements
