Pay: $41.78 - $43 p/h (Depending on experience) + $2.81 Educational Leader Allowance + Super

As an Educational Leader at Goodstart, you'll collaborate with Educators in your centre to observe, review, and continuously enhance the educational programs offered to children. You'll deepen the team's understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework. Working closely with the centre leadership team, you'll lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice.

About Goodstart Bentleigh East – South Road

Are you a passionate and experienced early childhood professional ready to lead educational excellence? Goodstart Bentleigh East - South Road is seeking a Diploma-qualified Educational Leader to join our team on a full-time, 14-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of leave.

- 14-month fixed-term contract covering a leave period
- Rotating roster between 6:30am and 6:30pm , in line with centre operating hours

In This Leadership Position, You Will

- Drive and support high-quality educational practices across the centre.
- Mentor and coach educators to strengthen curriculum planning and implementation.
- Lead reflective practice and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure programs align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Foster strong partnerships with children, families and the local community.
- Work collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

You'll Need

- Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current VIC Working with Children Check
