Painter/Plasterer – The Oceanfront Hotel Cairns

The Oceanfront Hotel Cairns is looking for a skilled Plasterer/Painter for a 3 to 6 month contract, helping maintain our hotel on the beautiful Cairns Esplanade.

As part of the package, you’ll receive a free motel room, so you can live just steps from work and enjoy one of Australia’s best waterfront locations.

About the Role

3 to 6 month contract

$50 per hour, paid through your ABN

Free in office motel accommodation for the length of the contract

Key Responsibilities

- Plastering, patching and repairing walls and ceilings throughout the hotel
- Painting, refinishing and routine maintenance of surfaces as directed
- A broad range of maintenance tasks, including preventative, predictive and reactive works
- Making sure all work meets legislative, statutory and WHS requirements
- Helping keep the hotel functional, pleasant and safe for guests and staff

Requirements

- Experienced, skilled plasterer and painter
- A current ABN (required)
- High-quality finish and attention to detail
- Able to work safely and independently in an operating hotel
