Social Media & Community Manager Brisbane

You'll own the Baciami hair extension brand and Jayne & Co hair salon social media content lifecycle, from developing content pillars and strategy to scripting, shooting, editing, publishing, and performance optimisation. You'll also manage UGC creators and influencers, build relationships with your online community, and support PR outreach and in-salon and brand activations.

Key responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand positioning, marketing objectives, and commercial goals

Establish content pillars, content calendars, and platform-specific strategies

Translate brand campaigns, product launches, promotions, and industry trends into engaging social content

Develop creative concepts, content angles, hooks, and scripts for short-form video and social campaigns

Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to identify new opportunities

Analyse content performance and use data to improve engagement, reach, and conversion

Own the end-to-end content production process, including ideation, scripting, filming, editing, and scheduling

Produce engaging short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other relevant platforms

Identify,



recruit, and manage UGC creators, influencers, and relevant brand ambassadors

Manage day-to-day social media engagement, including comments, direct messages, and community interactions

About you

5+ years of relevant experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, or a related role

Experience in the beauty industry, with haircare, hair extensions, professional hair salons, or the wider hair sector highly regarded

A strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, short-form video, and social media content trends

Strong portfolio of experience in developing content pillars, social media strategies, and content calendars

Practical skills in scripting, filming, editing, and publishing social media content

Experience managing UGC creators, influencers, or brand ambassadors

Experience supporting on-site salon, trade shows or activations

The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver output to deadlines

Strong work ethic, valuable team player, professional and excellent communication skills

A balance of creative instinct and analytical thinking
