Broker Support Officer - 12 Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Broker Support Officer to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. This is a full-time position based in Wetherill Park, NSW 2164. The Broker Support Officer will play a crucial role in supporting our broker network, ensuring they have the assistance and resources needed to operate efficiently and effectively. You will be the point of contact for broker enquiries, providing timely and qualified support to maintain strong relationships and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

- Respond to broker enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner
- Provide accurate information regarding loan products, policies, procedures, and system functionality
- Assist brokers with application submissions, documentation requirements, and process clarifications
- Liaise between brokers and internal teams to resolve issues and escalte matters where necessary
- Maintain detailed records of broker interactions and support provided
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of broker support materials and resources




- Identify opportunities for process improvements and broker satisfaction enhancement
- Support brokers with training on new products, systems, or procedural changes

What we're looking for

- Strong customer service experience, ideally within a financial services or similar support environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information clearly
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience using CRM or similar systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple enquiries and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of issues until resolution
- Professional telephone manner and ability to build robust working relationships
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation
- Reliability and commitment to meeting deadlines and supporting team objectives
- Knowledge of banking, lending, or financial products is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
