The Opportunity

We are looking for an elite Lead Technical RHVAC Mechanic to serve as our team’s ultimate technical resource. In this role, you won't just run standard maintenance routes—you will be the go-to specialist responsible for solving complex system diagnostics, executing critical component replacements, and overseeing advanced commissioning and upgrades

*This is a State based role which will require a large amount of travel depending on job demand.*

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex, ongoing RHVAC system failures that standard field technicians cannot solve.
- Precision Replacements: Execute technical component replacements (compressors, variable speed drives, specialised valves, and electronic control boards).

To be considered for this role:

- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in complex RHVAC diagnostics in supermarket refrigeration
- Expertise: Deep understanding of advanced controls, electrical schematics, refrigeration cycles, and modern variable refrigerant flow (VRF/VRV) systems.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional critical thinking skills with a reputation for solving "unsolvable" system issues.




- An understanding of CO2 systemsand refrigeration controls; Emerson, Danfoss and Alerton
- Leadership: Strong communication skills and a willingness to coach other technicians.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Refrigerant Handling Licence & Restricted Electrical Licence
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Scissor/ Elevate Work Platform licence – highly regarded.
