Due to continuous growth Wagners Construction Materials Laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Technician or Trainee Laboratory Technician looking for a career opportunity. This full time role is based at the Rocklea Laboratory and servicing the Southwest Metro area.
What you'll be doing
- Perform concrete and aggregates sampling
- Perform testing in accordance with Australian Standards and Legislation
- Organise daily field testing
- Compile and dispatch records
- Maintain accurate data of records for samples and test results
- Ensure compliance with project guidelines sampling products and testing/calibrations
- Develop opportunities for improvement and non-conformance reporting requirements
What you'll bring
- Current Manual Driver Licence (essential)
- Strong communication skills to interact productively with management, customers and team members
- Dedication to safety and quality
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
Successful candidates must be able to obtain satisfactory pre-employment checks including employment reference checks, a pre-employment medical and a police check.
