Ernabella Anangu School is located in remote South Australia on the APY Lands and offers a unique and rewarding leadership opportunity for an experienced and committed educator.

Our site includes preschool to Year 12 across 7 classes, as well as a dedicated Family Centre supporting the learning and development of children from birth to 3 years and their families. The home languages of our students are Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara, and our work is grounded in EALD pedagogy, bilingual education, student engagement and wellbeing.

This is an exciting prospect to join a strong and collaborative leadership team in a school that values high-quality teaching, cultural responsiveness, inclusion, learner agency and community partnership.

About The Role

The Deputy Principal is a key member of the school's leadership team and plays an essential role in driving school improvement. The successful applicant will lead work to implement the South Australian Curriculum and support the ongoing development of effective teaching and learning practices across the site.

Please note that staff housing is limited, and the successful applicant may be required to share accommodation.

To meet our duty of care responsibilities in the unique environment of the APY Lands, a wellness check will be undertaken for any teacher nominated for this position prior to an offer of employment being made. Please note that part time and flexible arrangements will be considered.
