Pearce & Heers Insolvency Accountants are seeking a graduate accountant to work in their Brisbane Office. The successful candidate will help administer corporate and personal insolvency matters as well as assist with advisory and restructuring engagements.

Our Firm

Pearce & Heers is a specialist debt resolution and insolvency firm which assists clients with financial problems and administers formal insolvency appointments such as liquidations and bankruptcies.

The firm has offices in Brisbane, Toowoomba and the Gold Coast.

Candidate

The successful candidatewill require:

- A degree(s) in accounting and/or law
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Creative/analytical thinking
- Ability to graspstrategies and legal concepts

We are seeking a graduate, or recently graduated accountant and no insolvency or general accounting experience is required.

The Role





Successful candidateswill assist with all aspects of personal and corporate insolvency appointments including:

- Liaising with stakeholders including creditors, directors and debtors
- Preparing reports and other communications
- Carrying out investigations and assisting the pursuit of recovery claims
- Selling and realising assets
- Generally managing files for insolvency appointments

Successful candidateswill work with our firm's partners and senior staff and will be able to develop their insolvency (formal, informal and advisory) skills with exposure to a variety of interesting and challenging clients.

Support for further study, including payment of costsfor CA, CPA and ARITA is provided.
