The Opportunity

Position: Environmental Health Officer
Location: Logan
Pay Rate: $36.00 - $48.03/hr + Super
Contract: 2 November 2026 - 30 April 2027
Potential Extension Available
Hours: Monday to Friday

What You'll Be Doing

- Researching and assessing risks associated with environmental health licensing, practices, equipment, and services.
- Providing expert advice on environmental health and safety matters.
- Working with a range of stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes through effective communication and negotiation.




- Using your judgement and expertise to navigate situations where procedures and guidelines may not be clearly defined.

Significant Requirements

- Successful candidates must be willing to become fully vaccinated through Council's funded vaccination program (at no cost to you).
