£50,000 per year | Nursing & Dementia Care

This nursing home provides specialist nursing and dementia care within a warm and welcoming environment, with a strong emphasis on individualised support, dignity and meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

As Deputy Nurse Manager, you’ll work in a supernumerary capacity, giving you dedicated time to focus on clinical leadership, quality and team development. You’ll work closely with the Home Manager to support the overall running of the service while remaining a visible and approachable presence for residents, relatives and colleagues.

Supporting Excellent Care From the Front:

- Work alongside the Home Manager to support the safe and effective operation of the service.




- Provide visible clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and care colleagues.
- Ensure residents receive secure, compassionate and individualised nursing care.
- Spend time with residents to understand their individual needs, preferences and experiences.
- Oversee and contribute to personalised care planning and regular reviews.
- Encourage residents and families to be actively involved in decisions about care.
- Identify safeguarding concerns and ensure appropriate referral pathways are followed.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and clinical standards.
- Monitor the quality of care and contribute to audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support nurses and care colleagues with their ongoing development and clinical practice.
- Build positive relationships with residents, relatives, visitors and external healthcare professionals.
- Promote a culture where quality, dignity and residents’ individual choices remain central to everyday care.
