Royal Hotel Paddington is looking for a Senior Venue Manager to join the ranks of this iconic venue. This is a senior role operating as 2IC for the venue working with a excellent team committed to the success of the venue.
Ideally you have had a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and love leading from the front where customer service, sales & staff training and development come naturally to you.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Team management and training
Venue compliance
Stock control and management
Security Management
Policy & Procedure development and compliance
Be an integral part of the local community
Ensuing the team is delivering excellent customer service
Venue audits and cost control
Recruitment and retention of staff
Entertainment, Lighting and Atmosphere
Continuous improvement in operations and service
To be successful in this role you will have:
Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a large team
Proven experience in managing, motivating and driving a multi faceted business
An understanding and appreciation of gaming
Effective timemanagement and organisational skills
Knowledge of current liquor legislation
Hands on approach with a natural ability to foster beneficial relationships
