Head of Technology Audit & Assurance

Senior Leadership Opportunity

We are partnering with a large, complex organisation to appoint an experienced Technology Audit leader into a senior position with significant executive exposure. This opportunity will suit an individual with a strong background across technology audit, infrastructure, cyber security and complex network environments, who can combine technical credibility with strategic thinking and sound commercial judgement. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing independent assurance across critical technology operations, working closely with senior stakeholders to identify emerging risks, strengthen controls and support business resilience.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee a portfolio of technology audit and assurance activities, ensuring coverage is aligned to key business risks and strategic priorities.
- Provide independent assurance across technology infrastructure, complex networks, cyber security and operational resilience.
- Build strong relationships with senior technology executives, providing credible insight and constructive challenge.




- Identify emerging technology risks and ensure audit activities remain relevant as the organisation evolves.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality audits and reviews, providing practical recommendations and explicit reporting to senior leadership.
- Lead, coach and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

About You

- Relevant professional qualifications such as CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM or CRISC.
- Significant leadership experience within Technology Audit, IT Audit or Technology Assurance.
- Strong understanding of complex technology and network infrastructure, including associated operational and security risks.
- Experience gained within a large, complex organisation or a Big 4 consulting environment.
- Broad knowledge of cyber security, technology controls, infrastructure and resilience.
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering risk-based audit plans.
- Proven ability to engage, influence and challenge senior technology stakeholders.
- Strong communication, people leadership and strategic thinking skills.
