Senior Associate | Employment & Industrial Relations

We’re assisting a top-tier Australian law firm to recruit a Senior Associate for their Employment and Industrial Relations practice in Brisbane. This is a leadership growth position and as such, the team is looking for someone with the confidence to drive strategic processes, build relationships and business, and mentor younger professionals.

The Opportunity

Joining this agile and expanding practice, you will work closely with two industry-leading partners andspecialists in their field. This team engages with a diverse, blue-chip client base across sectors including energy and resources, construction, manufacturing, financial services, retail, and higher education.

Your legal work will include:





- Spearheading enterprise bargaining processes and management of industrial action
- Planning for workplace changes, major projects, and transactions
- Representation in Commissions and Courts
- Broader advisory work including investigations

You

This role is ideal for a junior SA of 4-7 year’s PQE derived from a robust employment and IR practice. The team will want to know about your analytical and research skills and ability to translate regulations to commercial practice, as well as your ability to integrate new tech into matter processes.
