We are looking for a Hire Administrator to play a pivotal role in supporting the day to day running of our Sydney Branch.

You need to be a friendly, great communicator and highly organised individual to join the Sydney Team

About the role

This role liaises directly with the Sydney Branch Manager in relation to the overall Rental Department profitability performance. The position involves managing casual hiring, ex-rental unit sales, and coordinating all rental and sales operations for the Sydney Branch.

Key responsibilities

First point of call for hiring of casual units and the sale of ex-rental units

Completion of sale and hire contracts and hire agreement forms

Preparation and data entry of hire agreements and forklift details into hire fleet

Administering all changes to casual hire contracts for Sydney Branch

Liaising with other forklift companies to arrange stand-in and short-term rental opportunities





Liaising with other forklift companies for opportunities to sell ex-rental units

Coordinating with sales team and customers to ensure forklifts are prepared in a timely manner that meet or exceed customer timelines

Raising invoices for forklift purchases and raising purchase orders

Maintaining Sydney PPSR Registration and coordinating all outgoing and incoming transport for forklifts

Liaising with Marketing to ensure all available sales and hire units are on the company website and other internet locations

About you

Experience in a similar role required

Intermediate MS Office

Strong communication skills verbally and written with attention to detail

Ability to deal with strict deadlines and budget requirements

Outstanding Team Player with enthusiasm
