Commercial Litigation Lawyer | Associates and Senior Associates

A fast-growing specialist disputes boutique is looking for a Commercial Litigation Lawyers to join the team following a significant increase in new matters.

This is a key hire. You'll work directly with the firm's founder as a right-hand lawyer, taking on quality commercial disputes while helping shape a growing practice.

About the Role

The work is broad and commercially interesting, including:

- General commercial and contract disputes
- Construction disputes
- Corporate and financial services litigation
- Employment disputes
- Insolvency matters
- Insurance coverage and professional negligence disputes

The team has recently picked up several significant new matters, including multi-million-dollar Supreme Court litigation, so there is plenty of quality work from day one.

The development piece is a big part of the role. You'll work closely with the Partner on strategy and matters rather than being left doing repetitive discovery or low-level tasks.

About You

Ideally you'll have around 3–4 years' PQE in commercial litigation, although strong lawyers from 2+ PQE will be considered.

This could also suit an Associate ready to step up into a Senior Associate title.

You'll need strong commercial disputes experience, good drafting skills and the confidence to take increasing ownership of matters.

The preference is for a broad commercial litigator rather than someone whose background has been predominantly traditional insurance defence.
