Marko Stainless & Aluminium is looking for one or two experienced fabricators to join our growing team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll work across workshop fabrication and onsite installation. Our jobs range from custom stainless steel benches and sinks to school art, wash and drinking troughs, general fabrication, occasional handrails and architectural metalwork.

The work changes regularly, so there’s plenty of variety and an opportunity to see jobs through from drawings to the finished product.

Your work will include:

- Fabricating stainless steel and aluminium products from plans and shop drawings.
- TIG welding. MIG welding skills are welcome but not essential.
- Cutting, folding, grinding, polishing and finishing.
- Installing completed products on commercial construction sites.
- Working independently and alongside the rest of our team.
- Keeping your work area clean and safe.
- Communicating with supervisors, builders and other trades when needed.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who:

- Is trade qualified or has strong relevant fabrication experience.
- Has experience in stainless steel fabrication. Aluminium experience is welcome but not essential.




- Is confident with TIG welding and stainless steel finishing.
- Can accurately read and work from plans and shop drawings.
- Takes pride in neat, accurate, high-quality work.
- Has good attention to detail and can work through practical problems.
- Is reliable, organised and makes good use of their time.
- Has a positive attitude and works well with others.
- Is willing to help with onsite installation when required.
- Holds a current Australian driver’s licence.
- Holds, or is willing to obtain, a White Card.

Experience making commercial kitchen benches, architectural metalwork or other custom sheet metal products would be highly regarded.
