Green Wave Accountants is seeking an experienced public practice accountant to lead our Business Services division.

This role brings together technical practice, client relationships and team leadership. You’ll lead and develop the Business Services team, manage a portfolio of clients, stay close to complex accounting and tax matters, and work with the CEO to shape the division’s direction and contribution to the wider firm.

The experience and approach you’ll bring





You’re a technically strong business services accountant who can readily earn the confidence of clients and colleagues. You bring:

- CA or CPA qualification and substantial Australian public practice experience in business services.
- In-depth Australian tax and accounting expertise, including the ability to handle complex matters and review work to a high standard.
- Experience managing a client portfolio and providing sound advice to business clients.
- A track record of leading and developing accounting professionals.
- Commercial understanding of an accounting practice and how to improve client, team and financial performance.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills. You listen, explain complex matters clearly, and approach people with composure, empathy and respect.
- A practical, improvement-focused mindset and sound judgement about where to focus effort.
