Josh Wood Colour, one of London’s most celebrated hair institutions, is expanding across Australia, and our next chapter is about to begin inside MECCA Chadstone. Founded by globally renowned colourist Josh Wood, this will be our second Australian salon, following the success of our MECCA Bourke Street flagship, and we’re bringing that same energy, expertise and buzz to Chadstone.

We’re a tight-knit team of creative professionals who live for exceptional hair and client experiences that people don’t forget.

With our Chadstone doors about to open, we’re on the hunt for Senior Hairdressers to join us at either MECCA Bourke Street or MECCA Chadstone and help us make our mark. You’ll be confident across cutting, colouring and styling, and just as passionate about people as you are about hair.

What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering high-quality, tailored cutting, colouring, styling and finishing services

Leading in-depth consultations, really listening, and advising clients with honesty and confidence

Building lasting client relationships and driving rebookings for your column and the salon

Collaborating closely with our colourists and stylists to ensure every client leaves feeling incredible

Mentoring and guiding junior team members,



leading by example

Promoting your work and personal brand through authentic social content

Contributing to a supportive, inclusive and upbeat team culture

Who You Are

A qualified hairdresser with strong technical skills across cutting, colouring and styling

Confident and experienced. You know your craft and it shows

A natural at building real relationships. Clients come back because of you

Comfortable sharing your work on social media

Experience in luxury or high-end salons is a bonus, but passion and skill matter most
