About the Role

We are currently seeking qualified and reliable Security Officer to join our team at Hope Island. This is an excellent opportunity to work Australia's most recognised lifestyle destinations.

As a Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for safety and security on site. You will provide a professional security presence while supporting clients, staff and visitors.

Positions available - 2x Full-time Opportunities

Potential earnings / Award Level 4

Shifts: Weekday and weekend | Day and night shifts

Roster: Full roster details will be provided to shortlisted candidates

Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting regular patrols to ensure the safety of people, property and assets
- Providing a professional and approachable security presence
- Responding to incidents, alarms, emergencies and requests for assistance




- Identifying potential risks and taking appropriate action
- Following site procedures, security protocols and safety requirements
- Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate records

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A current and valid Security Licence.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (essential).
- A current RSA certification or willing to obtain one.
- Previous security experience, with retail, hospitality or customer-facing experience highly regarded.
- Exceptional personal presentation and professional grooming standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A current unrestricted Driver Licence.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including day, night, weekday and weekend shifts.
- Willingness to respond to alarm call-outs when required. Applicants living within a reasonable distance of Hope Island will be highly regarded.
- The ability to work independently, follow procedures and make sound decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.
- Full Australian working rights.
