We are partnering with an established organisation to appoint a commercially astute and entrepreneurial General Manager – Monitoring Solutions to lead growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished business leader to take ownership of a technology-enabled monitoring offering, combining commercial strategy, business development, operational leadership and innovation to build a scalable, high-performing business.

With the backing and infrastructure of an established organisation, you will have the opportunity to shape the go-to-market strategy, develop new markets and client partnerships, and capitalise on the growing demand for intelligent monitoring, AI-enabled technology and integrated service solutions.

Your Impact
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the division's strategy, commercial performance and future growth.

Key priorities include:

- Commercial Growth: Develop and execute a growth strategy that expands market presence, builds a qualified sales pipeline and delivers sustainable recurring revenue.
- Business Development: Identify and convert new B2B opportunities, leveraging established networks and developing strategic client partnerships.
- Strategic Leadership: Shape the business model, service offering and market positioning to create a differentiated and competitive proposition.
- Technology & Innovation: Champion the adoption of AI-enabled monitoring, video analytics, automation and emerging technologies to deliver smarter client solutions.
- Operational Excellence: Lead and optimise monitoring operations, ensuring service quality, efficiency and scalability within a 24/7 environment.
- Financial Performance: Take accountability for revenue, profitability, margins and commercial outcomes.
- People Leadership: Build and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and customer focus.

About You




We are seeking an accomplished commercial leader who combines strategic thinking with the drive and capability to build and grow a business.

You will bring:

- Demonstrated success in a General Management, Business Unit Leadership or senior commercial role with P&L; accountability.
- A strong track record of business development, solution selling and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
- Experience within monitoring, technology-enabled services, integrated solutions or related B2B service environments.
- An understanding of recurring revenue business models and the commercial drivers of scalable service operations.
- Strong commercial networks and the ability to develop relationships with senior decision-makers.
- An appreciation of emerging technologies, AI and their application in improving operational and customer outcomes.
- The ability to move confidently between strategic planning, business development and operational execution.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with the energy, resilience and ambition to build something significant.

Experience in a monitoring sector will be highly regarded, although we are equally interested in leaders from adjacent technology and service-based industries who bring a proven record of commercial growth.
