About the Role

As a Registered Migration Agent, you will provide professional migration advice and manage client matters from initial consultation through to application outcome. You will work with both corporate and individual clients, assessing their circumstances, identifying suitable migration pathways and delivering practical, well-considered advice.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic migration advice to corporate and individual clients.

- Assess eligibility, identify suitable visa pathways and explain relevant requirements.

- Prepare, lodge and manage visa applications from initial assessment through to decision.

- Manage matters across a range of Australian migration pathways, including:

- Employer-sponsored visas, including Subclass 482, 494 and 186.

- General Skilled Migration and other skilled visa pathways.

- Family and partner visas.

- Skills assessments and related application processes.

- Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) matters.

- Assist with visa refusals, cancellations, review applications and compliance issues.

- Liaise with the Department of Home Affairs, the ART, assessing authorities, employers and other relevant stakeholders.

- Monitor case progress,



maintain accurate records and provide timely client updates.

- Prepare high-quality submissions, supporting documentation and client correspondence.

- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver a professional, responsive service.

- Keep up to date with changes to migration legislation, policy and procedures.

- Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver effective, ethical and client-focused outcomes.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented migration professional who combines sound technical knowledge with excellent communication and a genuine commitment to client service.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- Current registration as a migration agent with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA).

- Practical experience managing Australian visa applications and advising clients on migration matters.

- Approximately 2–4 years of Australian migration industry experience, although relevant experience and capability will be considered.

- Knowledge of Australian migration legislation, policy, procedural requirements and professional obligations.

- Experience with employer-sponsored, skilled and temporary visa pathways.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to accurate, high-quality work.

- Confidence in communicating with clients, employers and external stakeholders.

- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.

- A professional, ethical and solutions-focused approach to client service.

Language skills in Hindi and/or Punjabi, in addition to English, will be highly regarded.
