Paeds Plus is looking for an Experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our established multidisciplinary team in Currambine. About the role

As a Speech Pathologist within our multidisciplinary team, you will utilise your clinical skills & knowledge to manage a diverse caseload of early intervention and paediatric clients aged 3-16years. You will deliver evidence-informed assessment and intervention to children and adolescents with diverse speech, language, communication and developmental needs. Your caseload will include privately funded and NDIS-funded clients,



with opportunities to work closely with families, educators and other health professionals.

Your clinical work may include

· Providing assessments and intervention to support the goals & needs of children aged 3-16yrs

· Assess and support speech sounds, receptive and expressive language, early communication, social communication, fluency, literacy and school readiness.

· Develop individualised therapy plans, document progress and prepare clear clinical reports.

· Work collaboratively with families, schools, paediatricians, GPs and allied health colleagues.

· Where aligned with your skills and interests: feeding and mealtime support- highly desirable

· AAC assessment, NDIS applications and assistive technology implementation – highly desirable.

· Autism assessment (ADOS-2) within our multidisciplinary team processes – highly desirable

About you

· A recognised tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status, or eligibility to obtain it.

· Experience providing paediatric or early intervention services, with confidence in family-centred, evidence-informed care.

· Strong communication, clinical documentation, organisational and collaborative skills, and an understanding of NDIS-funded services.

· A current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or the ability to obtain these before commencing.

· Experience with AAC, communication devices or ADOS-2 autism assessments is highly regarded, but not essential.
