Casual Sales Associate | Fine Jewellery & Bespoke

Do you love helping someone discover a piece of jewellery that feels just right, or showing them the possibilities of a beautiful gemstone?

Molten Store is looking for a Casual Sales Associate with fine jewellery sales experience, practical gemstone knowledge and a genuine interest in Bespoke jewellery.

At our James Street boutique, you will sell across fine and demi-fine collections, style pieces together, help clients choose thoughtful gifts and guide assigned gemstone and Bespoke conversations. You will be part of a boutique team where personal selling and lasting client relationships matter.

Your role

- Confidently guide fine and demi-fine jewellery purchases, making thoughtful styling suggestions and recommending relevant pieces without pressure.

- Help clients explore coloured gemstones, engagement rings, wedding bands and Bespoke or remodelling possibilities within your knowledge and agreed processes.

- Prepare thoughtful client briefs, progress authorised quotation requests and discuss approved options and next steps.

- Build your own returning client relationships through appointments, personalised follow-up and explicit, accurate client notes.

- Contribute to personal and shared boutique sales goals while supporting presentation, replenishment, secure stock handling, customer collections and assigned dispatch and packing tasks when trained.

You will look after the progress of your assigned client enquiries, with clear handovers and Boutique Manager-arranged coverage between shifts. Follow-up,



quotation work and records are completed during paid rostered time, not on days off. Pricing, technical, production and customer-remedy decisions requiring approval are referred through the agreed process.

What you bring

Fine jewellery sales experience and practical gemstone knowledge are essential. You are comfortable discussing stones and settings in accessible language, listening carefully and helping clients make considered decisions. You enjoy progressing a sale as much as starting a good conversation.

You are organised with client details and follow-up, know when to seek specialist advice and enjoy working as part of a busy boutique team.

Direct Bespoke experience and familiarity with clientelling platforms are desirable, not essential. We are interested in your practical knowledge, your sales approach and the relationships you build.
