About the role

Working closely with our Orthodontists and practice teams, you will be responsible for building and strengthening relationships with referring dentists and dental practice managers. You will be the face of My Dental Group within our referral network, ensuring our referrers feel valued, informed and connected to our practices.

Combining relationships management, event coordination and referral development, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied position that balances face-to-face engagement, organisation, communication and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Engagement & Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with referring dentists and dental practice managers through regular face-to-face visits.

- Conduct practice visits to strengthen existing relationships, identify new opportunities and ensure our referral partners feel valued and supported.

- Develop new referral relationships and proactively identify opportunities to grow our referral network.





- Maintain regular contact with referrers via phone, email, visits and other appropriate communication channels.

- Coordinate referrer visits and engagement initiatives in collaboration with our Orthodontists and teams.

Events

- Coordinate and deliver Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events

- Organise lunches, dinners and other engagement opportunities involving our Orthodontists and referring dentists.

- Manage event logistics, communications, invitations and follow up to ensure a professional and engaging experience.

- Identify opportunities for new educational initiatives and events that strengthen relationships and add value to our referral network.

Reporting & Administration

- Monitor referral activity and engagements preparing regular reports to identify opportunities and measure progress.

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of practice visits, referrer interactions and all engagement activities.

- Provide insights and feedback on relationship development and opportunities for growth.

- Work collaboratively with practice teams to improve lead management, referral processes and patient engagement systems.

Ideally you will have:

- Previous experience in the general dental or orthodontic industry

- Experience coordinating events and networking functions

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly, even through brief interactions.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and activities.

- A proactive mindset, with the confidence to take initiative and take ownership of your responsibilities.

- A professional and approachable manner

- Excellent personal presentation

- Solid attention to detail and confidence maintaining records, tracking activity and preparing reports

- A current driver’s license and willingness to travel in NSW as required.
