DOUBLE 'D' PRODUCTS AUSTRALIA is seeking a skilled Machine Operator Cook to join our manufacturing team on a . Based in Glendenning, NSW, this role is in production operations, ensuring machinery runs efficiently and safely to meet our manufacturing objectives. As a Machine Operator, you will be measuring ingredients by batch, mixing and cooking. Training provided but previous experience working in a factory in any measurable is viewed favourably.
What you'll be doing
- Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Performing routine maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting on assigned machinery
- Inspecting finished products for quality assurance and identifying any defects or issues
- Recording production data and machine performance metrics accurately
- Loading and unloading materials and products as part of the production process
- Maintaining a clean and protected work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Following all documented work instructions and safety protocols at all times
- Communicating with supervisors and team members regarding production issues or equipment concerns
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing department
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role
- Strong understanding of machinery operation, maintenance and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, technical drawings and production schedules
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks and lift materials as required
- Reliable and punctual with robust work ethic and commitment to safety
- Basic mathematical skills for recording production data and measurements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant manufacturing certifications or qualifications are advantageous
