We are seeking a reliable and hardworking gardener to assist with the ongoing maintenance of a private rural property in Bothwell, Tasmania's Central Highlands. This is a casual position offering approximately one day of work per week, with the possibility of increased hours in the future. An immediate start is available. The role would suit someone with gardening experience who takes pride in maintaining tidy, well-presented outdoor spaces.
Key responsibilities
- General garden maintenance and tidying
- Lawn mowing, edging and trimming
- Weeding, pruning and maintaining garden beds
- General upkeep of lawns, gardens and surrounding outdoor areas
- Seasonal gardening tasks as required
- Maintaining a neat, tidy and well-presented property
About you
- Previous gardening or garden maintenance experience
- Robust work ethic and attention to detail
- Practical, hands-on approach
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of undertaking outdoor maintenance tasks
- Honest, dependable and trustworthy
- Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining a high standard of work
- Work safely and responsibly with gardening tools and equipment
- Access to your own gardening tools and equipment would be advantageous, but is not essential
